Accessibility

Madame Tussauds Blackpool is accessible directly from the public footpath on the promenade. The attraction is a historic building set over a number of levels and across two buildings. When you arrive the team will issue you with an accessibility leaflet to assist you in getting around the attraction.

The team will advise you on the location of the lift when you arrive, the lift is operated by a member of staff. The lift will take you to level 1, which includes Brian Cox; I’m a Celebrity and Football Locker room. Level 2 includes Sporting Academy, Marvel, Coronation Street and Music.

We have a new access corridor which allows access to Best of British, Festival Fields, Seaside (including the Mirror Maze) and Crime.

For safety reasons, we can only accept three wheelchair users in the building at any one time and it is strongly advised that you pre-book in advance. To reserve a Wheelchair slot or to make a disabled booking, complete a form here and select 'I would like to make a disabled booking'.

Please note, we're unable to make on the day bookings for wheelchair slots. For on the day visits, please speak to our onsite team to discuss the remaining availability. During peak season, time slots are filled quickly and therefore we strongly recommend pre-booking in advance. Our team aim to respond within 48 hours of receiving your request.

Due to health and safety reasons, Madame Tussauds Blackpool can only permit three wheelchair users into the attraction at any one time. We therefore strongly recommend pre-booking your tickets in advance by contacting our Customer Services team at guest.enquiries@madame-tussauds.com.  Please note, we're unable to make on the day bookings for wheelchair slots. Carers must be booked in with a 'Disabled Guest Carer' ticket along with a full priced ticket. 

Assistance dogs including guide dogs are permitted within Madame Tussauds Blackpool.

Madame Tussauds Blackpool is a historic building set over a number of levels and across two buildings. So that all our guests can move around the building with ease, our trained staff will ensure that guests with disabilities are transported safely from floor to floor within our building by means of a lift specially designated for this purpose.

We have two Disabled Toilets within the attraction; the first is on the Ground Floor in our Big Night In area (next to Keith Lemon) and the second is in the Festival Fields area.
